Late-night and early-morning essentials in Dursley
Running out of something never happens at a convenient time. It's usually 9.45pm on a Sunday, or ten to seven on a Tuesday morning with the school bags by the door. This short guide is for those moments: what to check, where to go, and what's helpful to know before you set off.
Our own hours first, so you know where you stand
Kingshill Premier Store, 16 Kingshill Road, Dursley GL11 4EJ, is open 6am to 11pm, every day, Sundays and bank holidays included. Over Christmas our hours may vary, so please phone first on 01453 350908.
The “just in time” checklist
These are the things people tend to run out of. A convenience store like ours is built for them:
- Milk and bread. Breakfast sorted.
- Something fresh or something frozen. Fruit and veg, or a frozen tea when you can’t face cooking.
- Something for the lunchbox or the walk to work. Snacks and soft drinks.
- A bottle for dinner. Our off licence range of beer, wine and spirits is sold until 11pm. Customers must be 18 or over and we may ask for ID.
- The morning paper or a magazine, and a greeting card if you’ve remembered a birthday at the last minute. Newspapers and magazines.
- Pet food, because the dog doesn’t know it’s late.
- Errands. PayPoint, National Lottery, mobile top-ups and cash deposits are available whenever we’re open.
Late evening: tips
- 1Look at the clock before you set out. Most Dursley supermarkets and many shops have closed by 9pm or 10pm. We stay open until 11pm.
- 2Sunday evenings are when it catches people out. Our hours don’t change on Sundays: still 6am to 11pm.
- 3Not sure we have it? Ring 01453 350908 and ask. It’s quicker than a wasted trip.
Early morning: tips
- 1We’re open from 6am, which suits shift workers, early commuters and school-morning emergencies.
- 2Combine your stops. Milk, a snack and a Lottery ticket can all be one visit.

We’re at number 16 Kingshill Road in Dursley, and there’s easy parking around the shop. We take cash, card and contactless.
